But first a word of warning...
Knowing about cellulite won't shift it!

Cellulite, oh dear...poor ladyThat's right, knowledge is great.

But you need to take action if you want to shift your cellulite.

And isn't that what you're here for?

As you can see this lady has the usual lumps and bumps that often make up the classic cellulite symptoms.

Very annoying!

But I'm getting way ahead of myself. Let's focus for a moment on what cellulite is, how it forms, what it's made up of and just why we get the darned stuff!


So What Exactly Is Cellulite?
The word cellulite simply describes the appearance of skin when fat gathers underneath it in a certain way. And there are many theories as to what causes the dimpling, rippling, lumps and bumps. Here are a few of them.

•   Fat cells are trapped within your tissue, as the cells grow larger they swell and push out. The dimpling is caused by the swelling fat cells pushing up through a web of damaged, hardening and baggy connective fibres...not nice.

•   Your skin becomes thin and weak due to age, Swollen fat cells on the left pushing through a fibrous net... environment, lifestyle and genetics. The fat cells are then able to push up against the skin (upper dermis) where they become visible as lumps, bumps and dimples.

•   Your circulation is damaged due to age, environment, lifestyle amd genetics. Waste matter and leaked fluid is no longer removed efficiently. The fat cells take on some of this fluid or extra fat, and push up against the skin where they become visible as lumps and bumps.

•   Or it could be a mixture of all three theories in varying degrees of severity.

Cellulite can appear almost anywhere, most commonly though, on our hips, butt and thighs, and the symptoms of cellulite are not very attractive.


You Can Get Rid Of It!
A little more inspiration from a cellulite picture won't hurt! There are many strategies for getting rid of cellulite, you need to choose one.

My strategy is simple, first I remembered the three principles ...
1. Serious Action
2. Common Sense and Delicious Eating
3. Consistency...
...and then I applied them to the strategy I chose.


• Lower body exercises
• Upper body exercises
• Ab / Core exercises
• Cardio
• Eat well, I included dark chocolate, and green tea , so good for you.
