Anti Cellulite Diet. Is Your Food On The List?
What exactly are you eating…
is it helping your fabulousbutt?
It's true, an 'anti cellulite diet' would like you to eat 'good' food.
Let me explain what I mean when I talk about good, I'm talking about a specific kind of good, there are a lot of different 'goods', as I'm sure you're aware…
• Does it make you feel good?
• Does it taste good?
• Does it feel good in your mouth? I'm sure you have many favorite foods that fall into this category. Sadly, these 'goods' can be quite different from the ‘good for you’, good.
But happily not always.
I've compiled a list of different foods that are 'good' for you, try not to drool!
Good Food For An Anti Cellulite Diet...
Good food from close to the land – maximize these foods, there are many other good foods, but this will get you started. There's also a guide on daily amounts.
Avocados
Avocados are packed with nutrients and good fat. The avocado has been linked to lowering cholesterol levels, just don’t go too wild.
2 tablespoons a day.
Chicken
Free range is best of course.
Try to avoid or minimize that delicious crunchy skin!
Good quality, breast is best.
2-3 servings a week.
Chocolate – The Darkest (70%) Delicious Chocolate
Of course this is good, it makes you feel good, it tastes good and it feels good in your mouth. I find it unbeatable and irresistible, you'll have to make your own mind up!
6 squares a day, with green tea is delish!
Green Tea - As it comes or Decaf
Refreshing, and good for you, believe it or not it will also help speed up your weight loss.
Have it when you feel like it, just be a little cautious if it is full of caffeine- decaf sorts that out!
Dairy Products

Low fat cheeses, yogurts and eggs are good for you in moderation.
Fish
An anti cellulite diet staple, good fish is also a great source of Omega 3, and fish from cold waters is best. 2-3 servings a week (more if you like)
• Salmon
• Tuna
• Mackerel
• Halibut
• Sardines
• Herrings
Fruit
Anything fresh and off the land must be a better choice than processed food. And as an anti cellulite diet choice, its a very good one.
2-3 servings a day.
Nuts
A great source of protein, fibre and good fats, especially if your handful of nuts takes the place of a bag of candy, or crisps. Avoid drowning in salt and butter, avoid coconut and palm nuts. A handful a day, careful with nuts, as it's easy to eat a lot very quickly (I know!!).
• Chestnuts – Lowest in calories and fat
• Peanuts
• Almonds
• Hazelnuts
• Brazil Nuts
• Walnuts
• Pecans
• Macadamia – Highest in calories and fat
Oil

Use moderately.
• Virgin Olive Oil
• Canola Oil
Red Meat
 Good quality, low fat cuts.
Grass fed is best.
Did I mention low fat!!
2-3 small servings a week
Seeds
Full of nutrients including Omega 3, and yes this cake does have seeds in it and on it. OK, OK, should really just be seeds but come on, what a dull picture that was. A couple of tablespoons daily.
• Flaxseed, loaded with Omega 3
• Sunflower, great for a quick snack
• Pumpkin Kernels, try them roasted
• Sesame seeds, they form the basis of tahini used to make hommus
Vegetables
Again anything fresh off the land. Just don’t boil them to death, fry them in saturated fats, and smother them with fatty, sugary, floury or salty sauces. Or in the case of potatoes don’t load them with butter, margarine or sauce. As tempting as that might be. 3-5 servings a day.
Wheatgrass
Wheatgrass the ultimate healthfood, must qualify for an anti cellulite diet. There are a variety of types available, indulge yourself.
Whole Grains
Do your best to incorporate as many whole grains into your diet as possible. Brown Rice instead of white rice
Steel Cut Oats instead of instant oats for breakfast, whole wheat flour instead of white processed flour, you get the idea...but not too much.
Bacon & Eggs
Alright, alright – at first glance this doesn’t appear to be a ‘good food'.
But look, eggs in moderation are fine, and OK, bacon (additives!!) isn’t so good. But in my defence: if I eliminate many additives from the rest of my diet, then one slice of bacon a day doesn’t look so bad, does it? Perfection is a big ask, so an overall reduction in the amount of poor quality food I eat leaves room for bacon and eggs.
How many servings? Every breakfast of course!! You may decide to have oats instead – and well done, but you're on your own honey!!
Are You Storing Excess Food As Fat?
Don't eat more of these foods than you use, or you know what will happen. Calories come in expecting to be used, either as energy to get you around, as building blocks to make new bits for your body, or to replace damaged bits. If they aren’t used, they go into your 'calorie waiting room' - fat cells.
So despite eating a great anti cellulite diet, you still have a full waiting room. Butt...favorite foods in small regular doses can keep you sane, you just need to monitor the effects!!
