Cellulite Diet - Myth or Reality?

A cellulite diet to beat lumps and bumps - you've got to be kidding?
It certainly sounds great doesn't it? And it has a nice ring to it. Eating to get rid of cellulite, mmmmmm, it works for me.
Well despite the fact that I still have a small amount of cellulite (sob), I've eliminated the largest bumps and deepest pits, so you could be forgiven for thinking that I must have discovered a successful eating plan. But just a minute, let's take a closer look at this and see if the creation of a successful eating plan is behind (!) my success.
Is More Than Just Good Eating Needed? I regularly, at least 5 times a week, do one, some, or all of the following:
lower body exercises
upper body exercises
core body exercises
and cardio - SLOW running for me
Can all of this
physical activity
be separated from my nutrition plan, specifically from what I eat, and how I eat? No, I dont believe it can, so what is the answer?
You may get an 'OK' result from just focusing on what you eat, but I know that you'll get spectacular results from combining great nutrition with physical activity. Believe me, moving your body is the answer. But this is about a cellulite diet, so lets focus on that for now.
11 Things to Avoid - 14 Things to Enjoy!
11 Things to Avoid or at Least Minimise! Different strategies work for different people, and I'm sure you know one of those charmed souls who can break all the rules and still have smooth, fabulous, cellulite free butts. But for us mere mortals there are some fundamental things to avoid or at the very least to minimise, and here they are:
Smoking
Excessive alcohol (a glass of wine is good for the soul occasionally!)
Junk food or take-aways
Food that is loaded with saturated fat (pizza - sob)
Food that has hydrogenated fat on the label
Any type of processed food (loaded with additives)
Deep fried foods
Food that is loaded with sugar (cereal, health bars)
Missing meals
Over eating and stuffing yourself at meals
Energy drinks loaded with sugar or caffeine
14 Things to Indulge in, or at Least Enjoy! Try to stack the deck in your favor by eating food that's as close to the source as possible. For instance, if you're buying chicken, fish or meat, buy it in its natural state, not pre-crumbed, stuffed, marinated and otherwise interfered with.
Do your own baking. Select ingredients that have had the minimum of tampering, and you'll know what you are eating. Well at least you'll have a better idea!!
There is a feast of delicious things you can enjoy and here are some of them:
Plenty of water
(include plenty of green tea)
Fresh vegetables
Fresh fruit
Grains that havent been processed to death
Home made bread and soup
Dairy products that remain close to their source
Fish, chicken and meat that remain close to their source
Your own feast-like creations made with close to the source products
Regular meals (Don't skip, then stuff)
Carbohydrates & Proteins together!
Home baking you know whats in that (avoid margarine)
Dark low carb chocolate
(its good for you in small doses)
Occasional glass of wine
Occasional dream meal (indulgence is part of good living too!)
