French plastic surgeons developed the technique which is now used widely in the United States and other parts of the world. It is not a permanent solution and treatment must be maintained in order to retain any improvements.
How It Works
 The technique involves moving rollers in a small motorized hand held machine over the skin using a firm pressure.
At the same time suction is applied in an effort to alter the relationship between the skin and the underlying tissue, thus reducing the dimpling effect.
This treatment is thought to work best on people in the 30-45 age bracket. If you do decide to opt for this treatment you'll need anywhere from 14-30 treatments before you see results. You'll also need ongoing monthly treatment to maintain what you have achieved.
Exercise and Good Nutrition Raises Its Head
There's no escape, consultants recommend that you exercise as well! They also advise that if you are more than 25-30lb or 11-13kg overweight, you probably won't get any benefit from the treatment.
So moving your body and being intelligent about what you eat is important even if you are having the electronic massage.
Endermologie In A Nutshell
• It is machine assisted cellulite therapy

• Your skin is gently rolled using firm pressure
• The rolling of your skin is believed to stimulate your venous and lymphatic systems which helps to eliminate any build up of toxins, and combat abnormal fluid retention
• Most clients enjoy it or report only mild discomfort
• A general endermologie treatment program is as follows:

• Cost is anywhere from 80 to 200 US Dollars per 45 minute session, with the most common charge being around the $100 mark. There are often package offers at most clinics. But cost will also be determined by the severity of your cellulite, or how long you want to aggressively attack the darned stuff!
